Ch-C România celebrates 30 years since its founding and records remarkable achievements across several divisions:

• • Obtains the first internationally certified audit authorized by a leading pharmaceutical industry firm.

• • Launches the first European project in chemistry with industrial scaling, in collaboration with a consortium of companies and the National Research Institute “Petru Poni” from Iași, as the project leader.

• • Initiates a strategic partnership with a prestigious Israeli company in the Flavours & Fragrances industry, with a €1,000,000 investment.

• • The Commercial Division of Ch-C România launches two new product lines: "KLOER Home & Garden" and "KLOER SPA".

In the context of regionalization and securing the supply chain, Ch-C România focuses on becoming a trusted supplier for Western European pharmaceutical companies. It successfully launches the first pharmaceutical molecules developed in-house and implements them on an industrial scale.

Ch-C România develops and implements its first proprietary molecule (API) on an industrial scale. The company also begins implementing GMP procedures.

Ch-C România implements an integrated authority and environmental license and launches a new commercial brand dedicated to pool water treatment—“ArisBlue,” designed for customers with small and medium-sized pools, and listed in one of the largest supermarket chains in Romania.

Ch-C România expands its Research and Development Department and develops new customized synthesis products with in-house know-how and multi-step synthesis reactions. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ch-C România develops "Dr. Chemical," a professional disinfectant brand effective against Coronavirus, donating a large portion of the production to hospitals and institutions across the country. It also launches “Garbo”—a premium line of hand sanitizing gel, featuring an innovative and unique packaging and marketing design.

Radu Ciobanu takes over the leadership of Ch-C România, fulfilling one of his father's most important wishes: to create a company for generations.

Ch-C România forms new partnerships in Western Europe and Israel, developing high-value customized synthesis projects, and implements the international ISO 45001 standard, which sets the requirements for occupational health and safety management systems.

Ch-C România develops the "Branded Chemical Products" Division and launches its first brand, "KLOER," in the largest DIY retail chain in Romania. KLOER is the only Romanian brand that includes a professional range of products for pool water treatment.

Ch-C România implements the international ISO:14001 standard for environmental management.

Ch-C România produces specialty chemicals through multiple stages of synthesis, with the first years dedicated exclusively to specific projects.

Ch-C România focuses on producing customized chemical solutions with high added value, applicable in important industries and fields—ranging from substances used in anti-hail equipment to chemicals used in oil drilling. Thus, Ch-C România becomes a strategic partner for major national and multinational companies.

Ștefan Ciobanu joins his brother and father in leading Ch-C România, contributing to the strengthening of the company’s commercial direction.

Ch-C România obtains ISO:9001 certification, setting criteria for a quality management system.

Ch-C România begins managing hazardous chemical waste by collecting chemical reagents nationwide, offering an efficient and rapid environmental solution through expertise and significant resource mobilization.

Radu Ciobanu, the eldest son and a recent graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry in Iași, joins his father and contributes to the development of the family business. Ch-C România expands its production area in Iași, transforming it over the years into a hub that includes the company’s administrative headquarters, production area, and storage facilities.

After a successful career in chemistry and many years spent working for two major players in Romania's chemical industry (Antibiotice S.A. and the Petru Poni Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry in Iași), Vasile Ciobanu establishes Ch-C România (initially called “Chemical Company”). At the beginning, the company’s main activity was the production and distribution of analytical reagents.
